This book is a game changer that every leader needs to read. Developing teachers is hard work, and Paul's book helps to precisely identify action steps that are manageable enough to move teachers quickly! The tools are clear and easy to implement. Job well done!

This book is fantastic for providing instructional coaches with a pathway and scope and sequence for how to turn newbie teachers into master teachers.

Step by step guide to supporting educators.

This book saved my teaching career. It is practical, chunked, and can be used to improve coaches but can also be used by teachers like me.

It was an interesting read, though I'm not sure I completely buy into the system. It is very much grounded in charter school type very structured systems and breaking teaching down into these tiny measurable actions. If you aren't used to that the videos can seem outrageous (my boyfriend who would hear/see some of the videos as I was watching them thought some of them were particularly laughable). The book is associated with Uncommon Schools. If you haven't read Teach Like a Champion (I'm reading it for the first time now) some of the strategies and techniques in this book might be unclear. They aren't explained in great detail since the book is more about coaching techniques. When I was a teacher I never wanted strategies or tool-box type professional development so I struggle a lot with this model now that I am a coach. Nevertheless, it was an interesting read.

This guide compliments Teach Like A Champion and presents a detailed plan for developing the most high quality teachers our era has ever seen. Welcome to changing history and raising the bar on student proficiency levels in the U.S.

The book is easy to use and my teachers like this method because it allows them to implement the recommendation and get feedback right away. It also allows them to see the before and after difference.

I've always been a fan of Paul bambrick-santoyo's books. This one is helpful in the fact that it gives administrators a scope a sequence for coaches. I already knew most of the philosophy, but now I know the most effective ways to teach these skills and when I should teach each one.
