Casinos hates winning player and this book gives you a ton of information not getting fast under radar and handle critical situations. Decent book with some basic Blackjack Foundations, there are better by Wong, Uston, and others

If all you read is his explanation of how important excellent penetration is to the game of blackjack then this book is worth ten times what you'll pay for it! The book is quite entertaining as well. His "best act I've ever seen" is fantastic. If you want to become an excellent blackjack player you can do so by reading a few books-this is clearly one of them!

As a card counter, I've read several books on the matter. Assuming that you know how to count and have memorized the proper charts, this book should be at the top of your reading list. Karen Pape, MD, FRCPC, is a neonatologist and clinical neuroscientist. As a medical innovator, she is challenging the system to raise expectations for babies born with early brain and nerve injury. She was a neonatologist and director of the Neonatal Follow-up Clinic at Toronto’s renowned Hospital for Sick Children, with an additional research fellowship in Neonatal Pathology and Ultrasound Brain Scans in London, England. She co-authored a book on baby brain pathology and was instrumental in the development of neonatal ultrasound brain scanning, now used in neonatal intensive care units worldwide. Pape then directed work at the Magee Clinic in Toronto, developing a new, personalized approach to children and adults with early onset brain or nerve damage. My son was diagnosed with CP 6 months ago, and this is by far, the most helpful resource I’ve come upon. Dr. Pape understands the struggles and frustrations of families like mine, and gives advice and research to help us communicate with the rehab teams and specialists. My son is affected mildly and we continue to fall into the group of overlooked patients, because he’s ambulatory and mildly affected. There is no focus on his pain or side effects that could cause further pain, as the goal for most specialists we’ve met is simply walking. If you’re new to the CP world, this is the book to read. It gives you hope and realistic strategies to continue fighting for your child. I’m forever grateful for Dr. Pape and her work.

I was lucky enough to read an advance copy of this and I read from cover to cover without putting it down while our son was receiving therapy at a great centre who practice what Dr Pape has learned. What Dr Pape does for families of CP kids and adults is to think outside the square and show us that what we have options. The changes we have put in for our son are getting real results and we have been lucky enough to experience many changes in him and some within a day and we will continue to work on him to get him the best recovery. "Habit hides recovery" is a key concept and I would urge any parent of a CP kid to take this book and look for therapists that are willing to work with that in mind. Dr Pape is truly an revolutionary for not accepting the norm and looking at options. The day I stumbled onto a Ted talk of her's last year was truly the most life altering event for our 9 year old son, I cannot recommend this book and Dr Pape's work highly enough.

This book makes so much sense to me as an occupational therapist and mother of a child with a neurological condition. These theories will guide my treatment ideas with him. My mother, who has no medical background knowledge, read this book and took away from it a decent, basic understanding of Neuro-rehab.

The theory behind the book is good and, honestly, Mr. McDonald does a much better SELLING the book than actually following through. He relies heavily on using Google Adwords however his references to aspects of Adwords do not match the Google Adwords Dashboard thus making entire sections of the book unusable. In addition, he references various worksheets and documents you are to use in conjunction with the book. You are supposed to be able to access these via going to his website and entering a code contained in the book. I went through the process a couple times and surprise, surprise! No documents! Just links to additional paid training, consulting, etc! Yet these documents (worksheets) are apparently an important aspect of the SEO process he lays out. So, the book is really a lead-in to purchase other products the author is selling. I gave it two stars rather than one because there are a few tidbits of info in the book which can be taken independently. The guy does seem to know what he's talking about. It's just too bad he didn't deliver on the book rather than use it as a "sales brochure" for his other products.

I ordered SEO Fitness Workbook 3 days ago.I also purchased the digital version which I got immediately. On the day I finished the digital version, the hard copy arrived. This book was written very well for people like me, a neophyte. Jason obviously understands the perplexing concepts of SEO and he breaks it down to the level of a 6th grader. I have many books on the subject and most of them left me with more questions that had no answers. Aside from a well written book, Dr. McDonald makes himself available to answer questions. I emailed him a question late at night and got my answer (clearly explained) within an hour! I thought to myself,"was he waiting for me to ask a question?" Look! If you are searching for the bible of SEO, Here It Is

First things first -- I've read a LOT on SEO. Dr. McDonald's in't the first, but it may be the last -- well, until he updates in next year and publishes a fresh new version for us. Some advice: 1) read the reviews; 2) don't judge the book by it's cover (I come from a design background, so I look at things from that perspective); 3) read the book; 4) do what he says; 5) enjoy the results. Dr. McDonald does a couple things very well, with the most obvious one being -- he puts together useful, actionable information on SEO in a concise and straight forward package. He addresses reality, myths, and all other manner of important details you can take to the bank -- literally, if you do what you're told. Because as he puts it, SEO leads to ranking, ranking leads to leads, and leads lead to sales. Okay, he was way more articulate than I am, but you get the point. Enjoy.

It also explains everything very thoroughly and goes into details when explaining concepts.It is focused on small business owners and for the most part assumes and talks about you as if you are one. So for me, that did feel a little alienating, but it still had all the information that I needed and wanted.I liked the to-do lists and assignments scattered throughout the book as its good practice for implementing the things you’ve just read, and for me, helped me to remember better what I was learning.Probably not an issue in the print edition, but a lot of the images don't show up great in the Kindle addition and could use with being bigger.

From the start, I was pulled into the predicaments that continued to interfere with the long-held wishes of David and Sarah. They are dedicated individuals who do their best in any situation, and certainly deserve to have a happy future. But with so many threatening incidents occurring, I was constantly worried about their safety. There are also lots of other characters in the book who grabbed my attention with their lively personalities. HER STEADFAST HERO is a very engaging start to the Black Dawn series.

I absolutely loved this book. This is David Sloane and Sarah's story and oh my what a story. Sloane is a Army Investigator and a darn good one. Sarah is a Army nurse working with Doctors without Borders. They now each other from before. Sarah is the woman who got away. When they come face to face in Las Flores Sloane thinks maybe he might get a second chance. Only problem well earthquakes, escaped inmates, oh and proving he's men innocent should be simple enough. Right? Sarah is dumbstruck to say the least when she sees Sloane again. She keeps telling herself there's a reason it didn't work she just can't remember when he kisses her like that lol? Can these two find love amongst all the carnage? Can Sarah overcome her fears and let Sloane in? I absolutely love this series. I love the characters and how they interact. Check it out you will to.

David is Mr. Cool Under Pressure, and he's not going to let a natural disaster keep him from the one woman he hasn't forgotten. When he sees Sarah as part of the Doctors Without Borders program coming to help out after the island he's assigned to is hit with an earthquake, it's as though time stops and he has to make sure he doesn't lose her again.The action is non-stop in this action romance. David has to organize a manhunt to track down escaped inmates, deal with corrupt law enforcement, and rescue hostages at the hospital, all with the help of the Black Dawn SEAL team and a few locals who are willing to fight alongside him. Sarah's not going to sit out all the action, either. She's a dedicated nurse and tries to help as many people as she can to live for another day. The story was instantly captivating and simply a joy to read.This almost reads as an insta-love because neither Sarah nor David wanted to separate years earlier. Seeing each other again forces them to confront their feelings and work together to make sure they're never apart again. Their HEA was sweet and encompassed a couple other romances among secondary characters, too. It was also a terrific introduction to the men of Black Dawn, who have their stories told in other volumes in the author's world.

As always Her Steadfast Her has all the bells and whistles you have come to experience from this author. Military suspense, alpha men, strong kick ass women, prison breaks and to top it all off an earthquake that destroys most of the city. David and Sarah have such chemistry that the rest of the story happens around their HEA. As always O'Leary's character development will keep you turning page after page. You will love main characters and while there are many secondary characters they add so much to the story that you become attached to them as well.Great writing, great characters, great story what more can you ask for.

Having left the Army and joined Doctors Without Borders, she can and does handle anything thrown at her.As things get going with search and rescue and the manhunts tension rise. Especially with the doctor Sarah has already called out once for being drunk. She is escorting him back to quarters when the others in her group are taken hostage by some of the escaped convicts.The Navy SEAL team Black Dawn is called in to liberate the hostages, and then gets permission to hang around and help with the round-up of criminals.Fast paced and emotional, as this island works itself back to functional with the back story of Sarah and David coming to the forefront as their passion re-ignites.
