For 30 years and longer reading Ram’s teachings has never grown old. I knew it as the first great Truth; it still contains that.I was with JZ at a 3 day seminar in the desert, a skeptic, but wanting to know a Truth I believed no human could convey. RAMTHA literally responded to a silent, mentally expressed dare from me. I decided to negate that dare, because if “he” didn’t respond, I thought it would negate everything I might otherwise gain.The next day, he found me in a crowd of 100 people, leaned close (in JZ’s body) and explained to me that he did know my thoughts, and proved to me he was quite aware of the dare I had mentally issued. It took me 3 weeks home to fully grasp what he had done, and the utter reality of it.Do not doubt that this phenomenal entity lived as he said, and more, that he was speaking through JZ when the knowledge contained in the White Book was given. That very fact is in itself mind altering. They are all around us. The unseen is alive with beings - and their reality is far more free and alive than ours - for there, there is no death. There are no endings. There is no fear.Ram was trying to say that we have it in our power to know that state of being here, on this earth, as a god in form. It’s true. Completely true. Beyond Armageddon and integration, it is true.

This book is phenomenal, but be ready to think about God and man in a totally different way. As the bible says, you cannot put new wine in old wine skins. If you grew up with the laws and dogma of religion always in the back of your mind as I did for many years, it may take some effort to think a new way. Believe me, it's worth the effort. The teachings in this book came from a high entity, being, intelligence, whatever you want to call it. I've been reading Joel Goldsmith's writings for over a year now, so I had opened my consciousness to new ways of thinking. The truth is within. If you are ready, this book will speak to you. If you are not ready, you will not bother. The teacher comes when we are ready.

Depending on your spiritual understanding this could be a total blasphame or the clearest most loving message I've ever read, I'm going with the latter. I'm not sure about the first few chapters, perhaps to weed out some who are not "ready" for this level of understanding. But then wow, I don't want It to end, I am slowing down to saver the sweet nectar. I had heard of Ramtha and J Z knight but was not drawn to it till ( I was ready) I don't know about any other teachings or books by Ramtha but this is one of my all time favorite up there with "Seth " and "ACIM" and the "I AM discourses"Btw I heard about in the suggested reading in Mike Dooly's "10 things Dead people want you to know" also a great read.

When I first heard Ramtha's channelings, more than 25 years ago, I was skeptical about his challenging and revolutionary perspective. It was all too far-fetched to seem possible. Recently, someone I trust pointed me back in this direction, and I'm so grateful he did. After 25 years of individual spiritual study, I now find Ramtha's message not only palatable, but in agreement with the conclusions I've reached by studying many alternative works. In addition, Ramtha has the added perspective of looking back at his life in a body from a broader view. Now that I've conquered my own skepticism, I've happily received revelations and freedom from these writings.

Ramatha-The White Book is a really wonderful read, I liked learning about the third eye, and the pituitary gland . If you embraced yourself in unlimited ness, you can unmold yourself and think outside the box. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to go on a true adventure of the mind! I Chose this rating because this is really my kind of thinking. Unlimited, Love it !!!!!!! I plan to read more books from this author. I can’t wait to read another one. Thank you !!!!!

Forget the bible and all the religious works and writings. RTWB cuts through all the jargon and dogma and "man-made" concepts and gets to the very basic truth of all that is. This book is not for everybody at the same time as it takes a level of understanding and "suspension of belief" to totally grasp and apply these truths. But once you do, you have arrived at true Godness.

Excellent, thought provoking presentation on who we really are and who we are not! I do have to question however why anyone (Ramtha) would want to drag an 85,000 year old body around? One of the topics in the book was that "man" fell in love with his body and thought that the body was his own"self", forgetting who he really is, where he came from, and why he's here. Maybe Ramtha needed to keep his body as a sort of security blanket. Other than that, I felt the book has some serious concepts for deeper cogitation.

This book was interesting. Some of the thoughts were difficult to grasp at first and even more difficult to actually put into practice. I enjoyed reading it and stretching my mind a bit further. I highly recommend for those that enjoy esoteric material!

I had some minor experience in messing with GnuRadio Companion before reading this book so I was concerned at first that it wouldn't be technical enough. I was wrong. This book is amazing. Not only does it take you through tutorials on how to do things, it also explains why things work and gives you more knowledge to play around and know what you're actually doing. This is something lacking from most SDR tutorials, which either just tell you what to do with no explanation, or become overwhelming with required knowledge and information. This book doesn't delve too heavily into the physics and theory behind RF, which is actually great! It explains just enough for you to understand, but not too much as to not overwhelm. I am excited to read the next two books in this series, which does cover analog and digital signal processing. You will finish this book with the knowledge of how to play around further with GnuRadio and actually be able to understand why some things work and others don't.

I'm glad the author took the time to write this book. I purchased another popular SDR book and it was basically t said do this and then that and there you have it. They gave very little explanation of why you did this and that. This book, however, explains the workings of SDR and why making certain tweaks may, or may not, work. Everything is explained in layman's terms, unlike many other resources that expect you to know the terminology and workings of typical SDRs. On top of that, you don't need to have an SDR dongle to use this first book in the series. The author provides downloads that substitute for having a dongle so that you can learn without one. You do need to install GNU radio, but the author clearly explains how to do this, so well that a computer dunce like me was able to pull it off. I peppered the author with a series of questions at one point and he answered back to every one within 24 hours. I was impressed enough with this first book, and knowing the author was willing to help, that I went ahead and bought the next two in the series. Although parts of these next two do ask you to have an SDR dongle of your own, the concepts are so well explained and screenshots provided for each project in the series, that you could learn much from these without even buying a dongle. I do hope the author comes out with number four in the series.

This book was recommended by a well-regarded subject-matter expert so I had high expectations --- all were exceeded. The book is excellent and I look forward to volumes II & III (already purchased). The author does an excellent job enabling reader to quickly grasp and build upon various topics (enough just-in-time theory, screen-shots and practical examples). By doing the examples, one quickly determines what they may have missed by merely "reading" the examples. I found this augmented my understanding of mathematics of sin-waves, etc. and provided a holistic perspective for RF/SDR/GnuRadio. The combination of theory, exercises and especially the screen-shots is a winner. It's obvious Paul has talent in these technical topics and a method for conveying the information extremely well.JG

Spectacular step-by-step introduction for how to get started with GNU Radio on Ubuntu 16.04 (LTS). This book makes no assumptions about your current knowledge level about SDR or radio in general, and the step-by-step tutorial is thorough and very easy to understand. I spent months combing though online tutorials that were out of date and largely unsupported, and this book cleared everything up for me immediately. I would strongly recommend anyone who is interested in getting into GNU Radio start with this book first. Not only does it help you understand how GNU Radio and GNU Radio companion work, it gives you very precise and detailed instructions on how to install the applications using the recommended method (PyBOMBS - which I could never get to work on my own previously).

I started to construct SDR radios using gnuradio-companion with examples found here and there on the internet, but wasn't to sure what all the blocks were doing.Trying to compare software (blocks) to the hardware I was used to constructing solid state and vacuum tube radios (am and fm). This book helped me to see inside the blocks better. Now, onto book #2. Thanks.

I've searched for a beginner series on SDR, specifically one that covers HackRF One & GRC. So far this series is what I've been looking for. If you've tired of reading the multitude of online posts that make little sense, this series will break it down into smaller, coherent bites, which makes learning SDR via GRC the hobby I was interested in.Authors are responsive to email inquiries, which is a definite plus.

This book will get you from "nowhere" to having a solid foundation to build your own software radios. I've slogged through about a dozen online tutorials but still lacked the understanding to be able to build a "hello world" type SDR from memory. This book got me there with full comprehension. I'm buying the next two in the series and hope that they write some advanced guides in the future.

The book was pretty much what I been looking for in the past year. I been trying to get a grasp on SDR however everything I read never actually explained it as well as the authors do here. I am going to review a few things in this volume and play with the basics a bit more, then on to the next volumes. I really recommend this book to anyone seeking the basics of SDR.

About the Author

In 1996 Robert Milner sold Wildrose Kennels, a retriever training kennel which he had owned and operated since 1972. That same year he retired from the USAF Reserve after 26 years of service as a disaster response officer. Those two paths would cross again in 2002. Shortly after the tragedy of 9/11 Milner got a call from the Memphis Fire Department requesting his assistance with their FEMA disaster search dog program. He took the job and went to work rebuilding their disaster search dog program. Slow progress of the transformation led him to reexamine the traditional dog training model of compulsion. He adopted B.F. Skinner’s positive training model and was able to speed up the training program by 300%. Subsequently he adapted that training model to gundog training and discovered positive training to be much faster, easier to learn and decidedly more fun for both dog and trainer. Milner has trained over 2,000 dogs with compulsion and since 2002 has trained hundreds of gundogs with a positive training protocol. He owns and operates Duckhill Kennels at Somerville, TN, breeding and training Labrador Retrievers for gundogs and also for disaster search and for explosive detection. Takes the confusion and coercion out of dog training. This is the most direct and easily implemented method of training that I have ever found. It produces dogs who love to hunt and do it exceptionally well with bonus points for making a great family dog as well. I had given up the idea of training because the traditional methods just don't work well and they are SLOW. This is 3 times faster and makes a dog who loves his work. Training has become a joy for me and my dogs and something that we look forward to every day. You know you have great retention when the dogs remember perfectly after several days off training and are eager to get going again. They actually solicit training on their own. Kudos to Mr Milner for bringing this to the hunting world!

This book has some great information, but its better as a supplement than a manual. If you have trained a bunch of dogs and want to update your methods its great. If you don't have an idea of what you need to teach and the best order to do things in its not ideal. So far, the methods have worked for us and pup is coming along, but we ended up also doing a pile of research online- especially when pup didn't respond in the expected way and we needed to troubleshoot.

This book is awesome. It simplifies the communication process and gives you an alternative to compulsion training which was fairly counter intuitive to me. In my instance my 10 month old lab was really struggling with whistle stops which lead to frustration on my part and reluctance on his part. After backing up and regrouping per the instructions of this book I have him whistle stopping in under two weeks. I've read every book and this one ties up training into a very usable format for novice trainers like myself.

What an amazing book! The field trial people will turn up their noses, but anyone doing hunt tests, or who just wants a great gun dog, will LOVE it. I've been training dogs for AKC obedience and hunt tests for decades, and I wish I'd had this book years ago.

Full of great information, this book provides a general philosophy for training dogs. However, the book falls down in that it is not a clear how-to in it's presentation. I doubt a beginning dog trainer could accomplish much using only this text.

Robert Milner has done an amazing job with his new book. Absolutely Positively Gundog Training is a well written gundog training manual that helps the novice dog owner. I was able to follow his tried and true methods very easily and have seen wonderful results in my retriever. The best part about his new book is how easy it is to take Robert's training methods and apply them in your own training plan. He also is able to offer advice on how to handle situation we face when things go wrong. He teaches ways to train that help avoid those troublesome things gundogs do. And to top it all off he uses methods that even the beginner can learn. These positive methods reduce the need for force based training that many novice trainers have trouble accomplishing correctly. I was very pleased with Robert Milner's new book and would recommend it to anyone looking for a gentler way to gundog training that has proven results.

Good source of info. I have been to one of Milner's seminars when he first got into clicker training. This advances the ideas I heard there. The training techniques in here work and the dog will catch on quickly. It could be a little better organized as to a training timeline. You'll have to read it and set up your own timeline using his methods.

Robert Milner is a vastly experienced and successful trainer who has developed a profound understanding of how dogs think, and who has developed positive training techniques based on that understanding. About 5 years ago I bought one of his pups, who matured into a wonderful retriever (lying beside me as I write this), excellent in the field in spite of being trained only by me--a testimony to Milner's methods as well as to his dog's bloodlines. Milner's methods are understandable, practical, and effective, and because his methods are based on rewards, not punishment, the training sessions are an enjoyable experience for both the owner and the dog. Those methods are clearly detailed in this second book of his on gundog training. Highly recommended.
