Halley's Bible Handbook was born out of Henry H. Halley's conviction that everyone ought to read the Bible daily. Absolutely a MUST for Bible readers, for Biblical history, Church history, information about ancient pre-Christian era, This Biblical source has been known world wide as the top Bible study, Biblical history, (with B/W photos) and includes many extraordinary photos of early photographs of Archeology finds. There has been (to date), over 100 or more re-printings since the book came out in the early 1900s, including over "1,000,000" copies have been sold and or given away. Hailey's Bible Handbook has been and still is one of the most complete and comprehensive books of it's kind in the world! Also included in the book is the History of the Christian church, and including an excellent commentary of all the Bible (books). My late Pastor told me decades ago, that Hailey's Bible handbook that is a MUST HAVE for ALL Pastors, Christian Bible teachers, as well as Scientists, Archaeologists, as well as all other peoples will be amazed and astounded by this incredible book! Hailey's Bible Hand Book is a "MUST" for Pastors, students studying in school for the ministry, as well as for anyone and everyone. Over "1 MILLION" (or more copies of Hailey's Bible Handbook have been sold over the many decades since it came out, and sold in almost every country in the world. I don't normally take a lot time to critique an "item", but in this case, this item, (Hailey's Bible Hand Book" REALLY IS A MUST for those wanting a comprehensive study of and about Christian history, Biblical archaeological discoveries, and a multitude of other related Christian and Biblical findings and information. In my opinion, Hailey's Bible Handbook is one of the most important books ever written, (besides the Bible being NUMBER 1.!)

This review had nothing to do with content, which deserves a 5 star rating. This is a review of the mechanics of the kindle edition. I guess the price should have given it away. There are no hot links within the ebook. The index lists page numbers rather than location number. This makes the index totally useless. The table of contents links are too general. There are no easy ways to get to individual books of the Bible. I tried bookmarking them. However, bookmarks are listed under notes making it difficult to find your bookmarks.

I bought this for historical and comparison purposes. Other versions of Halley's Bible Handbook are highly recommended. This edition is very disappointing. There are YouTube videos and books like "Billy Graham And His Friends: A Hidden Agenda?" by Dr. Cathy Burns (page 440) that document the removal of warnings against Roman Catholicism. I recommend a higher quality hardback edition of the old Halley's. Get the unedited 22nd edition (1959) if you can handle the Catholic atrocities of church history. An excellent alternative is the old "Unger's Bible Handbook" (1966). If you're a Catholic or collector of "Billy Graham Crusade Edition" books, you may want this edition. I bought this specific one as a gift, for a new Christian who was having a hard time navigating the Bible.......I have always kept one near to my books of value, Bible being "Ultimate #1!".... But my newly born sister was not willing to dig, dig, dig daily! Ya, know.... The go to Church on Sunday, grab a few cool verses that fit life off facebook, or Bible apps, and rarely spend over an hour in the word a WEEK! .....As for usefulness, priceless *Even as the time wrote, many things have come about since the 50's 60's.... And if you have ANY person that is hungry for God's Word. *Of course a Bible is sufficient! This is just a great post-gift if already have Bible... Because, well *It is self-explanitory "A Bible hand-book"!....... Great gift to others and yourself! Many gems of statistics, dates, explanations of main thrust of each 66 books of The Bible, and so much more! Buy! Buy! Buy! As our Biblical freedom will be halted in the nearing future....I would rather Prep with a Duffle bag of Bibles, than a duffle bag of food, suplies and defence items!... Both are worthy of doing. Yet I allow the 1st to take presidence... love you all!....

A commentary from an author that accepts the Scripture as written is more valuable than a thousand by authors who don't. As an adult Sunday school teacher for decades I've a commentaries that were clearly biased or poorly written It sometimes seemed the author's goal was to write enough words to make a book out of their commentary rather than to clearly explain the Scripture. I've always found this handbook to be concise, accurate and informative.

I LOVE Halley's handbook as a quick go to for easily finding out a bit of information about a place or the back ground of a verse or book of the Bible. What I don't like about this Kindle version (and why I didn't give a full 5 stars) is because I find it difficult to easily go to book or chapter. Maybe I don't understand how it works? But seems to me it should be pretty simple. I have to go to the start of the OT or NT and flip my way, page by page to get to the book I want to read about. Doesn't seem right?!

Just what a handbook should be, plus! Two of the great features are his between the testaments and his brief church history.

The instructions for procedures were aimed at the experienced engraver. There were only photos of completed items not step by step. The description should say "not for beginners" I was looking for a step by step instructional book. There are no photos to speak of other than finished items and the book is just not motivational.

Very interesting to read, just haven't had time to try any of the projects. Soon I hope.

In "Brooklyn," Colm Tóibín introduces us to Eilis Lacey, a young woman looking to find a place for herself in her small Irish hometown a few years after the end of World War II. She has a good head for figures and would love to find work as a bookkeeper or accountant, but although she has been taking classes, employment opportunities are few and far between, and all she's been able to find so far is part-time work in a shrewish neighbor's grocery shop. Unlike her elegant, outgoing older sister Rose, Eilis doesn't have much of a social life either beyond a couple of close lifelong friends. When a visiting priest offers to sponsor Eilis in America, she dreads leaving the only home she's ever known, but she never seriously considers turning down the offer. In Brooklyn, Eilis keep homesickness at bay by focusing on her department store job during the day, her studies in the evening. Not until the evening she meets Tony, the handsome plumber son of Italian immigrants, at a church dance does she begin to allow herself to set down even the most tenuous emotional roots in the new land. Unfortunately, just as she starts to think she might be ready to accept that her future lies in America with Tony, devastating news arrives from Ireland, and Eilis finds herself caught between two countries, two obligations, two futures that could be hers.There isn't much in the way of a traditional plot here. There's no antagonist, no central conflict, almost no dramatic action. "Brooklyn" is not so much a novel as a slice of life. This is realistic fiction in its purest form, neither one whit more interesting than life itself, nor one whit less. Tóibín's prose is smooth and unobtrusive, and the reader finds himself sinking, as it were, into the flow of another life. We want to know what's going to happen for precisely the same reason that Eilis does, for the same reason we look forward to the unfolding events of our own lives. "Brooklyn" is by turns tense, ambiguous, tedious, and uncomfortably irresolute, because life is all of those things. This is *not* the kind of novel you read to escape reality, but to illuminate it delicately from within.More than anything else, perhaps, "Brooklyn" is a character study of the phlegmatic personality. From the beginning, we see the major decisions in Eilis's life being made by those around her. Her neighbor offers her a part-time job, and she doesn't want to take it, but she does. Her family and Father Flood arrange for her to go to Brooklyn, and she doesn't want to go, but she does. (Skip the rest of this paragraph if you don't want to know anything about the ending, even in the most general terms.) Although she appears to gain independence and confidence from her experiences in America, it becomes obvious in the end that these changes are merely superficial: the unassuming demeanor is gone, but Eilis again and again betrays her instincts and her principles, and finds herself in the end faced with a dilemma she can't get out of without hurting some of the people she cares about, largely because she can't manage to assert herself at the crucial moment. Even the all-important choice she makes in the end isn't so much chosen as forced upon her by circumstance (including a chain of coincidences that might not seem particularly farfetched in any other novel, but here served as a rude awakening, ten pages before the end, that this was a piece of fiction and not a rich slice of history after all)."Brooklyn" is a lovely little book with a light touch that belies its true depths. Readers looking for escape, high drama, or wholly affirmative character development are likely to be disappointed, but those willing to immerse themselves in the narrative and let the flow of events carry them to the end, however unsatisfying, are likely to find themselves strangely satisfied for all that.

I can think of very few times when I liked a movie better than the book, but this is one of them. Where the screenwriter and director and actress succeeded, the author failed. Hollywood took Toibin’s story and created a charming character in Eilis, a girl whose endearing kindness made us love her; this from the author’s one-dimensional character who either did not feel emotions or would not reveal them. We are given, by Toibin, all the vapid details of her life but not her reaction to them, and although we want to connect with this girl, we are not allowed to do so. When she leaves the dance with Tony and he asks, for the first time, if she will go with him again next week, we don’t get elation, we don’t get intimacy or sexual tension, we don’t recognition that someone likes us and is willing to risk rejection for us. We get: “Eilis realized that this invitation would mean that she could go to the dance without having to take the feelings of any of her fellow lodgers into account.” What? Seriously?What is perhaps most disquieting is the praise heaped on this book by the literary establishment. The publishing industry is an embarrassing clutch of inbred New York literati who stand as self-appointed gatekeepers while keeping company with a complicit establishment of editorial critics. As long as they keep reminding each other of their brilliance and superiority, all is well. It is infuriating to read how Toibin’s writing in Brooklyn is “spare” and has “remarkable power,” etc. This is utter nonsense. Shame on you all. While some of Toibin’s other work may achieve these heights, Brooklyn most certainly does not. The writing is not “spare,” it is simply simple. Juvenile. Sophomoric. Something you’d expect to get from a second-year English-lit student. It has a “See Spot run” sort of quality, as if the writer couldn’t decide if he was writing a children’s book or an adult novel. There’s nary a well-crafted, insightful sentence to be found. Toibin seems to have forgotten the concept of authorial irony and the subtleties of narrative that flow from such irony, the enjoyment it evokes for the reader. There is an unending train of “she thought”s and “she felt”s and “she knew that”s even though we Think we Know what she Felt without being told at every turn.The ending, if you can get there, is well done. But a good ending does not justify the means when it comes to a novel. See the movie instead.

I liked this book, its main characters, and its storyline until Eilis flip-flopped on her return trip to Ireland. Toibin had so carefully established her as a smart, if somewhat passive, young woman, whose aim it was to please everyone; so it didn’t ring true that she suddenly transformed into a self-enwrapped, unfaithful little flit.We can understand her having fallen, over a period of months, for faithful, good-hearted Tony; but there was nothing to justify her sudden switch to Jim or the easy way she neglected her mother once he came on the scene. I like characters to change for good and logical reasons; Eilis seemed to have changed because it was convenient for the author. And just a little convenient, too, that Miss Kelly and Mrs. Kehoe happened to be cousins who spoke by telephone twice a year. In those days, most people couldn’t even afford to make overseas calls to their immediate family members, but these two cousins, who never once mentioned the other in conversation, spoke twice a year!Rewrite, please. She goes back to Ireland and realizes how much she has accomplished in two years—and I don’t mean her svelte figure, suntan, and stylish clothing. Revisiting Ireland helps her appreciate her own inner strength, and she resolves to go back to Brooklyn and get her accountant’s degree. The Jim diversion makes no sense and I dislike Eilis for having fallen so unbelievable out of character.

I’m a liberal and I support Pamela Geller. Unfortunately, I’m one of the few that do. The left has lost its way, but luckily Pamela is brave enough to do what’s right. If reading the Quran and monthly Islamist terror attacks in Europe aren’t enough to wake you up, perhaps this book will. Geller is the definition of a patriot. This remarkable book traces her journey fighting for YOUR Freedoms and YOUR Rights. Her journey has been fraught with smears, hate, and violence from those who try to censor her. This is very ironic, because for all the 'persecution' Muslims say they face it is A) Pamela who has faced the most persecution from the regressive left and Islamists and B) Pamela who has tried to stop the REAL persecution Muslims face from Sharia, which treats women as second class citizens, criminalizes all LGBTQ people, and kills you for apostasy (leaving Islam). Pamela describes the many successes she's had, including her amazing website Atlas Shrugs, stopping the ground zero mosque, the Muhammad cartoon contest that was attacked by a Jihadist, and many more. After the Charlie Hebdo massacre nearly all publications refused to publish a single Muhammad cartoon out of fear of the violent retribution it will bring from pious Muslims. Pamela refused to live in fear. Her contest was a huge success and now there are hundreds of more cartoons mocking the madman Muhammad. She refuses to bury her head in the sand, apply self-censorship, or live in denial about the root causes of Islamist terrorism. She also describes the staggering depth of naivety and ignorance of her opponents. We don't even have the right to know if we're eating Halal meats because the USDA doesn't make producers label their products. (I personally don't want to eat animals that have been inhumanely slaughtered.)Geller is sounding a loud warning that if we don't wake up and start fighting back against the creeping Sharia we will find ourselves part of the Caliphate. Ms.Geller has been committed to researching the truth, and speaking out against bigotry and hate. She speaks for freedom of speech and against so-called honor killing. The left and media in this country are fearful of her influence. In fact, it’s confusing why Bill O’Reilly, a conservative, has spoken out against her. I personally have heard Geraldo on T.V. express his fear in rude ways.Understanding Islam, jihad, and Sharia seems inconceivable to this American, as does the beliefs of the left. But Ms. Geller’s book brings me a little closer. A fascinating and terrifying read!

I give it a full five stars not so much for its absolute accuracy, but rather for its broad analysis in and of a certain historical period. The first few chapters are a rather tedious refutation of Malthusian theory of population growth, and the implicit economic theory behind it. From then on it has all it takes to be considered a classic.The basic idea of common ownership (but not necessarily right to use) to land and other natural resources is deeply rooted in most humans, and is probably a much more clear and straightforward moral ground for taxation than whatever is currently presented by liberal democracies.Add to this the enormous potential of collecting rent (i.e. the value of unimproved land, including its natural resources such as minerals or forests, and also the increased value from its location, e.g. in a city) as taxes and you have a strong foundation for state finances.Henry George explains -sometimes in rather archaic terms, using farmers and farm land as the most frequent example- why such a system would be to great benefit of virtually everyone in society. For instance: Speculation in land would be seriously dampened and useful land would hardly lay idle.His conclusion is the Single Tax. Which is perhaps why the idea died away. Still a great inspiration a century and a half after its first publication. And quite an easy read, considering the dryness of its subject.

Amazing landmark works by an esteemed author, if you know anything about Henry George I need not go on. One problem with this edition is that the footnotes don't seem to work, and trying to find which is being referenced is next to impossible. Seeing as how important footnotes are to a work like this, it does affect the reading experience.

This excellent treatise on economics is the basis for the principle of "full value land taxation" implemented by California Treasurer Ivy Baker Priest (1967-1975). It caused a hue and cry in the business community. If fully implemented nationwide, it would obviate the need for all other taxes because the greatest source of wealth is land. There is good reason why land is called REAL estate. An oversimplification is this: Manhattan Island was purchased by European settlers from native Indians in 1626 for $24. In 1996 Manhattan Island's estimated worth was $34,000,000,000. In our economy, land is commonly taxed on the basis of the purchase price, and the difference between the initial purchase price and subsequent sales price is considered to be profit. Full value land taxation, however, says that in this example, if Manhattan Island is taxed based on the purchase price of $24, then it can only be sold for $24. If the owner wishes to sell the land for its full value of $34B, then it must be taxed based on $34B.

This is NOT a review of the book, but of the 2017 paperback edition with COAL MINERS ON THE COVER.DON'T BUY THIS EDITION!It's incredibly cheaply produced. From appearances, the text was badly OCRed from another source, introducing many typos. Worse, the font is much too small and the columns are far too wide, making it very difficult to read. Looks like it was put together by some no-name "publisher" (nowhere identified in the printing; can't say I'm surprised) out to make a quick, fraudulent buck off this out-of-copyright classic.

The quality of the printing could be better done. The content is a classic understanding of early pre-socialist “Christian liberation theology”. It’s a great insight to the workings of how this developed into the 1960’s post Vatican 2 theological justice moment. Worth the read

Fantastic book. Really provides a thoughtful (not academic in the modern sense) discussion for interest rates and how they function. I'm very glad I stumbled across this book several years ago.

As a conservative I bought this book hoping to learn more about the author's opinions regarding the root cause of poverty in the late 1800s. This book is nothing more than a fancy cover over photo copies of the original text from a library. The publisher didn't even bother to create a table of contents, an index of key topics or bump up the original font size from 3 to something readable. The author's writings just rambling on and on. Once in a wild he stumbles upon a good question such as, "What is the meaning of life?", but he just keeps rambling and never tries to answer it. This book represents the unfortunate transition from a great potential to a pile of rubbish.

A must read for anyone wishing to understand where and how America confused happiness and mass consumption/ technological innovation. Too few environmentalists reference George. It seems that his 150 year old ideas are still too radical, or too honest. One of the great works of American philosophy, "poverty and progress" is a blue print for social justice. The printing is the original from 1870's. George had the plates made himself because his publishers did not want to risk the money on the printing plates if the book didn't sell. Let's get this book back in print and give Henry George his proper seat in history as an incredible intellectual with an uncommonly large heart.

About the Author

Michishige Udaka, a leading-role Noh actor, is a member of the Kongo School, where he apprenticed under Iwao Kongo II, the late head of the school. At present, Udaka is the only Noh maskmaker who also performs on stage. My only gripe is the presence of several photos that are presented across two-page spreads, effectively wrecking the images. Gladly, there aren't a lot of these but there should have been none.The text is helpful, especially if you have limited knowledge of Noh characters. I've studied Noh for quite some time and I still have trouble with differentiating a few of the female masks outside the context of a performance. The author does a good job explaining the differences.It should be noted that the masks here are all the work of Udaka. This should not be considered an overview of Noh masks, but a portfolio of one brilliant artisan.

I bought this book to use as reference for another book I was reading (Mask by Fumiko Enchi) and I expected it to be good, but this exceeded my expectations. There's no other way to describe it, it's just a breathtaking work of art, just like the mask themself. Udaka is a master both as an interpreter and as a mask maker, and his description of the mask and it's expressions, taking especial care to explain the complexity and character of each of the 32 mask here exposed, make this book both interesting and comprensible. If you are interested in Japanese culture and art, you won't be disapointed. It's a fantastic book, and a true treasure.

The masks are a marvel of simplicity and yet, thanks to multiple photographs at different angles, manage to display different moods and emotions. Truly a remarkable way for actors to embody their characters on stage.

this book was exactly what i wanted- the pictures are beautiful, and the descriptions of each mask are very well written. this book is displayed on a stand on a bookshelf, and it is the perfect the perfect useful but still aesthetically pleasing addition to the asian-inspired decor in the home. i highly recommend it for those who are not only looking to find useful information on individual Noh Masks, but also an inexpensive, beautiful piece of art.

Gave this book to son as a holiday gift. Gorgeous photos. The book also includes the history of the NOH masks and the meaning of each mask highlighted in the book.

I must say the pictures on this book are so beautiful. I like asian arts and wanted to know more about Noh theatre, little did I know that I would enjoy this book so much. Descriptions are detailed, pages are in full color, and there are a lot of full-page pictures. This is a great addition to my book collection.

I love the layout of this guide.It's easy to follow and suggested OG problems after each chapter reinforces you on the corresponding topic.The chapters are structured so that each lesson reinforces your sentence correction process and builds on top of your skill.After finishing the book, I can immediately recognize the question type, what the question is asking for, and error spits. It helped me solidify my understanding of sentence correction.I would say it's more detailed and easier to understand than Manhattan GMAT's sentence correction book.On the other hand, the guide is full of errors.It got to the point that I couldn't trust the answer and explanations. One of the practice question answers was actually wrong. Even though the explanation listed the correct answer, it really startled me for a second and shook my confidence. Some of the errors are too obvious that I wonder if an editor reviewed the book at all.I checked the publisher's website, but no errata has been posted. There's one-page errata amending the book, but I'm not even sure what that's for.Also, in one reference to OG question the author says an incorrect answer is correct, contradicting OG question answer. It was about parallelism. The author blindly applies parallelism to fit her chapter topic and says 'you can quickly eliminate wrong answer choices and get to the correct answer'.This is dangerous advice: you should NEVER apply grammar rules without thinking about the intended meaning. It's a quick way to fall for the trap in 650~700 level questions.I really wish there was a separate chapter for the meaning since 700+ questions rely heavily on subtle meaning differences.Overall, I would recommend this book, but with a caution. It's a great guide for reviewing, but watch out for the errors.

This sentence correction guide has been great so far. It is clear, concise, and full of useful examples to help polish your grammar and diction to help dominate the GMAT SC questions. I have used this and the Manhattan GMAT SC guide and I like this one a bit more (although the other is good too). The section at the end with over 100 practice questions is great. Each question is broken down with explanations for why answer choices are incorrect and why others are correct. Fantastic way to end the guide. Highly recommend picking this up.

Despite the fact that this book was published in early September, no one has written a review yet, so when I got my hands on a copy, I made sure to check it out, because I also consider myself an expert in this portion of the GMAT (Last time I took the test, I answered 100% of the Sentence Correction questions correctly).First of all, it is important to remember that nearly any third-party guide to GMAT has one main weakness: it does not include any real GMAT questions. I repeat: THIS BOOK DOES NOT CONTAIN ANY REAL GMAT QUESTIONS. Thus, Meltzer has wisely referenced similar questions from the 2017 Official Guide to the GMAT at the end of each chapter, so that we can try applying our newly-learned Sentence Correction skills to actual test questions.GMAT informational and strategy books such as this certainly still have their place in the preparation process, but there is nothing quite as helpful as practicing with real GMAT questions. The book should have been called "At Your Best as a Tradesman", as that would have been more accurate. It mostly seems to be concerned with how you market yourself, and maintaining a positive attitude and work ethic. That's great, but not what I thought I was paying for. The author (not a welder, by the way) states that there's no such thing as a "Master Certified Welder" and goes on with no mention of 6G/6GR, and only fleeting mention of CWI. There's plenty of mentions of "You, Inc" and your personal brand, which is great if that's what you're looking for, but if you want meat and potatoes about the welder career, I recommend passing on this book. He refers to many software tools on his website, atyourbest.com. I haven't tried them so cannot comment as to their value.I like seeing guys like Mike Rowe pushing the skilled trades, and I believe Mr. Carosso's heart is in the right place. I haven't read the AYB books for plumbing and electrician, but I'd be willing to bet they're pretty similar to the welding book. I recommend Juan Carosso either combine the good info on networking, personal branding, and positive attitude into one book to help tradesman looking for a mental path, OR, if he sticks with books broken down into specific trades that he actually include some solid info on those trades, such as actual certification types and costs, info on inspecting & tests, etc.In the meantime if you're looking for some meat to help you get rolling as a new welder, I recommend finding an ebook called "100K Welder" by Scott Linden. I don't think Amazon sells it anymore so you might need to look around. It's got some nuggets of gold to help you kickstart your welding career.

If you like the style of previous Peter Wohlleben books then you will enjoy The Secret Wisdom of Nature. Choosing ecosystems for its theme, the book is more united by conveying scientifically valid facts with emotional resonance than by a strict focus on its subject. This is not to say that the book has no larger themes. Only that whether one likes the book will be less determined by virtue of its conclusions than by whether one likes anecdotal science.Essentially, Wohlleben aims for depicting the incredible amount of interconnectedness and homeostasis that takes part at the macro level between plants and animals. Thus, we learn of the effects of bacteria thousands of feet under the earth as well as the perennial Wohllebenian theme of the tragedy of the loss of old growth forests.While the material will not be as surprising to readers as the science in the Hidden Life of Trees this doesn’t mean that it is uninteresting or not worth reading.And Wohlleben’s larger theme that macro-level ecosystems are so complex that it is best if we simply try to limit the effects of our species as much as possible—rather than intervene to recreate older biological homeostases—is well-argued and relevant to present day environmentalism.I cannot say my worldview was transformed by this book, but I can say I was not only entertained but educated to have more informed opinions on environmental issues. His realistic but optimistic approach to handling such problems in the Anthropocene era is a refreshing change from more alarmist perspectives.In short, there are no real faults in the book just less material than the Hidden Life of Trees which will completely surprise the reader. It’s worth adding the perspective, tone and information in this book to one’s outlook on nature.

The Secret Wisdom of Nature is the third in author Wohlleben's trilogy. The first dealt with trees and the second with animals. Both were marvelous in the way science and Wohlleben's anecdotes were interwoven into enjoyable and easy to read text. That's nothing to say of his great knowledge, much learned by first hand observation, of our physical world. Secret Wisdom is written in the same manner with the same surprising facts, e.g. killing wolves in Yellowstone caused erosion along riverbanks. Huh!? Yes it's true. On page 167 the author writes, "Does that sound complicated? I think so too."The real emphasis on the third book is the effect people have had on the environment and surprisingly it seems that even actions meant to help often have deleterious effects. Germans have made an effort to feed roe deer helping them make it through hard winters. Now there are more deer than ever and of course the effect on woodlands is not the best as the browsers are doing what they do best.There's a dark side to human activity as well. It seems our success as a species is based in part on our ability and willingness to kill anything that flies, swims, crawls, or walks. But putting that aside our complete domination of the planet, even when well intentioned, can have unintended consequences. Let me add a personal note. This winter was very cold with record setting snow. We decided to feed wild turkeys to get them though the winter. The 105 turkeys are doing fine but they have scared off the crows, blue jays, and woodpeckers. By helping one specie we have probably hurt others. This is much of what Wohlleben writes.Same size book as first two with same paper and same size print. Maybe not as good as first two books (they were really ,really good) but I'm still glad I bought it. Recommended.

As with his other books, the author takes us deep into the life of our planet, re-teaching what I believe we once all knew when we were more in step with our natural world...how flora and fauna live intricate, inter-woven lives. Reading Peter's books brings us back into balance with Nature, I highly recommend you read all three books.
