Very important to be aware of trends in photography and art. This book is a treasure chest of old and new ideas. For those artists who want to create new art and not just repeat the history of art, this book is invaluable.

Had to get this for a class but it's really good if you want to read it to learn more about photographers and their work. I personally learn different ways of contemporary art in photographs and opened my mind to more ways in creating it.

This book has an interesting organization, with the chapters classifying artists according to their artistic vision or motivation. Unfortunately, the text does not do justice to this analytical approach with the description of photographs and photographers being mostly superficial. There isn't much of an attempt to link contemporary photography with its social and cultural environment.However, what makes the book a real bargain are the photographs. You get to browse through the work of many of the important photographers of the last few decades in one place and to contrast them with one another. The small size of the reproductions is somewhat disappointing, but it is made up by the large number of photographs and the low price of the book. The printing and paper quality are good.

Photography isn't the most exciting thing to me in the world, but this book made me interested in learning more about it. Lots of photos are in the book with short descriptions of many of the photographers and what their type they focus mostly on.

Great read- Gives You direction as to the different genres Of photography. Talks about different Famous photographers and their styles of shooting.

A good read would have liked to see more of what happened after Jessie and Heather met up again, how and if they move on if Heather regains her memories. Just felt incomplete. Please consider a sequel because I felt that the characters are sitting waiting for the rest of their story to be written and they won't be quiet forever. :)

Chasing Yesterday just screams sequel. Much too short.The beginning of love for Jessie and Heather was cut short.What happens to Jessie and Heather now that they haveFound each other again? What about Heather's father? Her daughter Summer. Please, please sequel! 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

It was short but very satisfying. As the walls around her have been demolished, you get a wonderful woman, Jessie. And Heather is so amazing. It hit me what happened with Heather and it's something I wasn't expecting. A drama with an open end and a little happiness. I hope with all my heart that there will be a sequel.

I enjoyed this book. I really liked the story line and the backdrop for the story but I would have liked to see more of the relationship develop between the main characters.

This book has misspelled words, missing words and missing letters in words. It also has incorrect words, such as toe being used when the word should be TOW. Because of these editing issues this book is difficult to read.

Poorly written and poorly edited. Sorry I washed the money.
